About PureMessage for Notes/Domino
----------------------------------

PureMessage for Notes/Domino protects Lotus Domino servers from viruses,
spyware, Trojans, worms, and other unwanted file types, preventing any malware
from entering and spreading across the network.

This product replaces MailMonitor for Notes/Domino, which is being retired on
31 December 2007.


New in this version
-------------------

The following features are new, compared with MailMonitor for Notes/Domino:

* Support for Domino Server R6.5 and R7.

* Notes-based user interface.

* PureMessage Watchdog component provides file attachment blocking and
  quarantine capabilities.

* PureMessage Disclaimer component enables administrators to add text or
  HTML elements to the headers and footers of outbound email.

* Enhanced reporting and statistics capabilities.


Known issues in this version
----------------------------

* If you select the "Next Quarantine" option, you may see the message "Unable
  to access database". This message is displayed by default and occurs if you
  are using only one database for quarantined items. It is possible, but not
  necessary, to use multiple quarantine databases for different mail jobs.

* Currently PureMessage Notes/Domino does not check the version of Domino
  Server the software is being installed on. This means that it is possible to
  install the Domino R6 version of PureMessage onto a Domino R7 server and
  vice versa.


Additional information
----------------------

* Sophos Anti-Virus should be installed on the Domino server before installing
  PureMessage Notes/Domino. The Sophos Anti-Virus standalone installer can be
  found on the Sophos Groupware Solutions CD (follow the Install PureMessage
  for Notes/Domino link on the home page) or can be downloaded from the Sophos
  web site.
