Additional features are available for endpoints managed by the Sophos Enterprise Console:
Device control. Device control detects and blocks certain controlled devices that are unsuitable for an office environment. More information about the storage types and policy options supported by device control can be found in the SAV OS X device control knowledgebase article. Note: if device control policy is changed, certain attached devices may be ejected, as detailed in this knowledge base article.
Tamper protection. Tamper protection helps prevent unauthorized users and known malware from uninstalling disabling Sophos security software. When enabled, certain changes will require the tamper protection password rather than the local administrator password. Note that if your organization has a group policy that already enables tamper protection, tamper protection will immediately become effective on any computers on which you install the 9.1.4 Preview release.
