Sophos Reporting Interface 1.0 release notes

New in this version

This is the first release of Sophos Reporting Interface. Sophos Reporting Interface provides reporting functionality along with customizable log feeds for Sophos Enterprise Console that third party log-monitoring software can access.

Known problems

The description of some problems includes an identifier in brackets, for example "(DEF 22335)". You can use this identifier if you need to contact Technical support about the problem in question.
  • (DEF67296) When extracting data from the firewall datafeed, the data for FileChecksum field will be missing if it is available in the database. This is due to the additional “=” symbol after FileChecksum.

    To fix this issue:

    1. Open the firewall.config file.

      Default location: C:\Program Files\Sophos\Reporting Interface\Configuration Files

    2. Replace the following line:

      <field name="FileChecksum" link="FileChecksum=" enabled="1" />

      With:

      <field name="FileChecksum" link="FileChecksum" enabled="1" />
