The description of some problems includes an identifier in brackets, for example "(DEF 22335)". You can use this identifier if you need to contact Sophos technical support about the problem in question.
This is because the computer has an older SQL driver than what is required for SQL mirroring.
To workaround this issue, exit the Sophos for Microsoft SharePoint installer, install the SQL native client from the installer's resources folder and restart the Sophos for SharePoint installation. For information see Sophos support knowledgebase article 113076.
(WKI 37430, DEF 37844) If User Access Control is enabled on Windows Server 2008, and the installing user is not the Administrator account, then the installation wizard displays the following message on the Service Credentials page when the Next button is clicked:
Setup was unable to access Microsoft SharePoint using the specified account.
To resolve this issue, see Sophos support knowledgebase article 58415.
Setup was unable to configure the access permissions on SQL Server instance MACHINENAME\INSTANCENAME for user DOMAIN\USERNAME
The installation program will then proceed but after installation the product may not have access to the chosen database. In this case, contact Sophos technical support for a workaround.
