Sophos Mobile SDK 1.0 for iOS release notes

New in this release

This is the first release of the Sophos Mobile SDK. The Sophos Mobile SDK (SMSDK) provides an API for restricting and protecting the usage of an iOS app.

The SMSDK enables an application developer to easily restrict and protect the usage of an app in compliance with some easy to configure policies.s The following security measures can be applied to the usage of an app:

• Require the user to accept a EULA before being able to use the app
• Require the user to define/enter a password to be able to use the app (including single-sign on between SMSDK enabled apps)
• Restrict usage of the app to a geographic location (geofencing)
• Restrict usage of the app to a time interval
• Restrict usage of the app to WiFi network or the company WiFi network
• Block usage of the app if a device is rooted
• Expire usage of the app at a defined date

System Requirements

Sophos Mobile SDK supports iOS devices using iOS 7.0 or newer.
